A double header sweep of the Central Methodist University JV Eagles by the ECC Falcons (12-15) was highlighted with big hits from the entire line up winning 8-1 and 8-0.

Ryan Stutzman started the hot hitting with a 2 RBI double in the 2nd inning of the first game to give ECC a 3-1 lead and they didn’t look back from there the rest of the day. Joining the hit parade in the 3rd inning, Sam Kozlowksi and Anna Arman smashed hits into outfield gaps to elevate ECC to a 6-1 lead after three innings. Stutzman continued her great hitting day going 3 for 4 with an RBI bunt. Lexi Lewis closed the deal with a double going 3 for 4 with 3 stolen bases.

The Falcons were led defensively by Abrea Simmons who pitched 7 innings only allowing one run and striking out 10 batters.

The second game was a continued line of hitting as the Falcons started early and often with RBI hits coming with two RBIs from Ryleigh Long. Adding to the hit list Kylie McDaniel, Lexi Lewis, Avery Little and Ryan Stutzman put ECC on top for good.

Addyson Steele looked good putting her touch from the circle to work getting a complete game shutout with only 3 hits by the CMU Eagles.
