The East Central College Falcons (29-14) used a combination of good pitching and timely hitting to fly past the Hesston Larks in a double header sweep by scores of 5-2 and 8-3.

Cole Evans went four and a third innings to earn the win for the Falcons in the first game striking out two batters and only allowing 4 hits. Drew Davis came into the game in relief to slam the door shut with two and two thirds innings with no runs.

At the plate, Matis Crouwel hit a solo home run to give him five dingers on the season along with his 34 RBI. Landen Roberts and Cory Chostner put together hits to drive in a run each as well. DeVon Jennings went two for three with 2 RBIs in the first game. Jennings now has a team leading 47 RBIs on the season.

The second game had ECC having to make a mini comeback. Jack Meyer had a good outing striking out five batters only allowing one hit and one run over 4 2/3 innings. Adam DeBoer came in to relieve Meyer and went 4 1/3 innings to striking out six batters to end the game.

Chostner was the big hitter in game two with three hits.  Jennings, Crouwel, Joshren Magnaye, Josh McClintock, Owen Smith and Jose Alfonso all drove in one run each. Alfonso had a triple to drive in his run.  Hayden Cook stole two bases on the day and not to be outdone, Crouwel knabbed two bags himself.
