Road rage from being stopped on Interstate 44 for an hour and half to make the shortest away trip of the season to St. Louis Community College didn’t stop the Falcons from taking three straight sets from the Archers. Coach Lisa Mathes-Peters’ team finally arrived to their destination in Kirkwood, quickly warmed up and got to business as they won the match by scores 26-24, 25-23 and 25-13.  Almost back to playing a full starting line-up, the Falcons were paced by McKenzie Struckhoff with 10 kills and Cameron Hackmann and Molly Kraus notched 6 kills each. Grace Goedde returned to the line-up and collected 16 digs as the defense made themselves more of a presence on the court.

ECC will come home this weekend to face Frontier Community College and MCC-Longview in back to back matches Friday night and Saturday morning. The 9-8 Falcons are looking to improve their season record by taking two matches over the weekend.
