The Falcons were not quite sure what to think of Frontier Community College at first. Finding themselves trailing in the first set, it was time turn up the intensity. As ECC was able to knock down the Bobcats in the first set, they went into overdrive the next two sets led by Lydia Klenke winning by scores of 25-18, 25-9, 25-20. A tremendous serving performance was an understatement as Klenke served the last six points of the second set. She then opened the third set with eight straight points and seven of them were aces. A good match all the way around had the 10-8 Falcons in control most of the way. McKenzie Struckhoff and Molly Kraus led in the kills department. Emma Borcherding, Cameron Hackmann and Jessica Kelly collected their own impressive kills as well. Grace Goedde, coming back off an illness, was able to take charge on defense to help control the ball for the Falcons.
