The Falcons 2-0, were able to defeat Rend Lake CC 25-15, 20-25, 25-13, 25-14 and Frontier CC 25-14, 25-16, 25-12 in their first two matches of the season. The first match had Ginny Ward leading the team in kills with 10 and McKenzie Struckhoff with 8. On the defensive side, Mackenzy Vedder racked up 15 digs and Kayla Borgerding had 14 to pace the Falcons.
In the second victory over Frontier CC, the Falcons saw good offensive production from McKenzie Struckhoff again with 6 kills along with Cameron Hackmman and Grace Goedde who registered 5 kills each. Kayla Borgerding was the digs leader in the second match with 13 against the Bobcats. The Falcons look to finish strong in the opening tournament at home with two more match against Missouri Baptist JV and Southwestern Illinois College.
