The Falcons 2-0, were able to knock off Rend Lake CC 25-16, 20-25,25-13,25-14 and Frontier CC 25-14,25-16, 25-12 in their first two home matches of the Falcon Classic. In the first match, the Falcons were paced to victory by the offensive power of sophomore Ginny Ward who recorded 10 kills. McKenzie Struckhoff followed behind registering 8 kills of her own. On the defensive side, Mackenzy Vedder and Kayla Borcherding collected 15 and 14 digs respectively.
The second match of the tournament had ECC in command right from the start. The Falcons had contributions from McKenzie Struckhoff with 6 kills along with Grace Goedde and Cameron Hackmann who both notched 5 kills. Kayla Borcherding had 13 digs in the victory over the Frontier CC Bobcats.
