The ECC Softball Falcons (11-6) came to play against the Central Methodist University JV Eagles and swept the double header by scores of 14-8 and 6-4. The Falcons made some mistakes defensively to allow the Eagles in the first game, but a quick answer trailing 3-0 to tie the game at 3-3 was a three-run home run by Addie Konkel, as the designated hitter. A launch over the centerfield fence had Konkel touching all the bases to be greeted by her teammates after she crossed home plate. Konkel collected four RBI in the first win and Emma Weston went 3 for 4 with 3 runs scores and 2 RBI. Other hits came from Aubree Eaton, Mya Hillerman, Madison Sander, and Nicole Truitt who all had two hits each. Taylor Hanger got the win from the circle for Falcons.

Madison Sander provided the punch with poke over the fence that was grand slam driving in four runs. Mya Hillermann wasn’t to be denied either as she went yard launching a solo home run of her own. As the Falcons battled throughout the game Morgan Green collected the win pitching well for the Falcons in the eventual 6-4 victory.
