Post season honors for NJCAA Region 16 Softball were released this past weekend at the region tournament and four Falcons were named 1st Team All-Region. Sophomore Eden Henry along with three freshmen Megan Micke, Jensen Crenshaw and Ashley Miller were selected by a vote of the coaches.
Henry finished her sophomore season with 11 home runs and a team leading 42 total RBI. She went 15-8 pitching in her career for the Falcons. Micke collected nine home runs, with 41 RBI and ended up with over a .450 batting average in her first season. Crenshaw belted out five home runs and had 23 RBI batting leadoff. She also led the team with 20 stolen bases. Miller notched seven wins from the circle this year.
Another list will be released with the All-Conference selections later this week. As the Falcons look to start fresh next year a large number of returning freshmen will have Coach Wallach and the Falcons poised for next season.
