A trip out of state for the first time this year for the ECC Volleyball Falcons, now 5-2, had the team flying high with a 3-1 set victory over the Spoon River College Snappers in Canton, IL.  The score line of 25-14, 25-15, 19-25, 25-23 had the Falcons on the attack right from the beginning, only being slowed down in the third set.

Allison Tonioli returned back to top form as she led the charge on the offensive side with 11 kills in the match to pace the Falcons to the win. Grace Struttmann and Leinata Leakehe also had productive matches recording 10 and 9 kills respectively. The Falcons made a final offensive blow to take the fourth set 25-23 and send the Snappers back into their shell.

The opposite side of the play had Maranntha Holliman providing the assists to power the offense on the day as she had 25 helpers. Trinity Clark was the defensive anchor with her 21 digs in the match.

ECC will head into this coming week with their two biggest regular season home matches back to back as they face St. Louis Community College and Metropolitan Community College Kansas City.
