A cold, blustery day had the ECC Softball Falcons (9-6) split a double header with the Culver Stockton College Wildcats in Canton, MO losing the first game 8-5 and winning the second contest 5-4. The ball was not necessarily flying out of the park in the first game for the Falcons.

The second match up was highlighted with a return to the line-up by Abrea Simmons, who recorded 8 strikeouts in her official college debut after starting the season with an injury. Avery Little continued her hitting pace going 2 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored. Alexa Smalling had a timely double, stole one base and scored a run on the day.

As the Falcons look to continue their offense attack, they will face MCCAC conference foe St. Charles away on Thursday, March 21. ECC will then face NJCAA Region 16 DII rival Mineral Area College at home on Saturday, March 23.
