The Falcons (6-4) were able to paddle right over the Rend Lake Warriors in straight sets with a 25-16, 25-23, 25-23 score line. The last two sets were close, but the Falcons were missing their middle Grace Struttmann after an ankle injury early in the second set of the match. A good offensive performance came from Mariah Vahlkamp and Kilistina ‘Teena’ Lutui who had 11 and 8 kills respectively. Lutui was able to step in the middle blocker position and take command at the net. Sophomore defensive specialist Kaley Roper led the team on the defensive side registering 17 digs in the match.
