The East Central College Falcons (11-1) finished off the series against the Milwaukee Area Tech Stormers with a weekend sweep. A big first game saw the Falcons knock off the Stormers 15-5 after 6 innings. Billy Underwood got the start for the Falcons and didn’t disappoint as he recorded the win. Keagan Lawlor came in relief to help the Falcons cruise to victory.

The offense was electric as Jose Alfonso, DeVon Jennings, Matis Crouwel and Nick Hooper all recored two RBIs each. Jackson Kirn recorded three RBIs on a big triple. His triple was not the only one as Josh McClintock had three hits in the game with a triple of his own.

The second game of the day had ECC witness one of the best pitching performances of the year as Starling Beverding registered 10 strikeouts earning the win for the Falcons in the 7-4 decision. Beverding allowed two hits and zero runs over three and two-thirds innings while only walking one batter. Adam DeBoer started the game for the Falcons and Jack Meyer came in for a short stint.  DeVon Jennings and Landon Roberts both drove in two runs. Josh McClintock and Matis Crouwel both scored twice.

Next up for the Falcons is Southwestern Illinois College on Tuesday, February 27.
