ECC Men’s Soccer (2-1) was able to come back from Sedalia, MO over the weekend with a 3-1 victory over State Fair Community College despite trailing 1-0 at halftime. Scott Peggie opened the scoring with a free kick that ricocheted off a defender and into the upper corner of the net to tie the match. A second goal and game winner was added by Miguel Gonzalez to raise his goal total to two early in the season. As the game started to get closer to full time, Peggie added his second goal as Joe McInnes beat the goal keeper and Peggie pounced on a lose ball to tuck it into the net.
The Falcons have a busy week this week as they face St. Charles CC and St. Louis CC in back to back home games. To round out the week the Falcons will also face Crowder at home on Saturday to end the extremely full schedule this week.
