The Falcons (14-7) raised their game in a three set match sweep of the Missouri Baptist University Reserve Spartans by a score line of 25-18, 25-22, 25-15. Heavy hitters in the kills category included Abby Cowell with 11, Rayne Van Reed with 7, and both Emma Coburn and Erin Brooks collected 6.
Lexi Filkins led the way for the Falcons in moppiung up the floor with 22 digs and Alyssa Bruce had 12 on the night. ECC found most of the offensive helpers in the assists category from Jaidyn Collins with 19 and Peyton Yarbrough with 12.
Elevating the record to 14 wins on the season puts the Falcons on pace to reach the 20 win plateau as the head into the post season at the end of October. A few tough matches remain on the schedule with one in particular on October 14 at home as the Falcons take on MCCKC their NJCAA Region 16 rival.
