The ECC Volleyball Falcons have flown to a 16-7 record over the weekend with two 3-1 set wins in matches over the Frontier Community College Bobcats and the Wabash Valley College Warriors. It was the third time this season the Falcons faced the Bobcats and they were able to sweep the season series with a third victory with scores of 16-25, 25-118, 25-15, 25-23. Abby Cowell put the pressure on the Bobcat backcourt by pounding down 11 kills, Erin Brooks added 9 kills and Emma Coburn 8 kills. Jaidyn Collins and Peyton Yarbrough were catalysts in the assists department recording 18 and 17 assists respectively.
The best-case scenario kept rolling into the second match for ECC as the Falcons took down the Warriors by scores of 25-17, 22-25, 25-23. 25-16. Rayne Van Reed had a good match knocking down 7 kills while she followed Cowell with 8 in the match.
