A quality win for the Falcons (4-5) was paced by a big day at the plate by Kannon Hibbs. Hibbs had four RBI in the 12-9 victory over Rock Valley with a solo home run in the 3rd inning, a two RBI single in the 4th inning, and another RBI in the 6th inning.

Jack Holubowski got the scoring started in the first inning with an RBI triple. An error and a Saul Valdez sacrifice fly made the game 3-0 at the end of the first. The game was then tied 4-4 after three innings and the Golden Eagles made their surge as they took the lead 9-6 in the top of the sixth inning.

The bottom of the sixth inning was comeback time for the Falcons. The bases were juiced with a combination of hits, hit by pitch, and walks as the table was set for Sam Bruno. Bruno delivered a two RBI double to start to reeling in Rock Valley.

Three pitchers combined in the game for the Falcons as Jack Meyer got the start and went 4 innings. Will Mentz came into the game in relief for 1 2/3 innings and then Henry Kufa came in last 1 1/3 innings to strike out 3 batters and end the game and earn the win.
