The ECC Falcons (18-21-1) were able to outlast the Westminster College Bluejays in a double-header sweep winning 20-10 and 4-2. It was a long first contest as the Falcons finally flew past the Bluejays with a crazy scoreline. ECC was paced by the hitting of Henry Kufa and Matis Crouwel. Kufa drove in four runs on two hits, one being a home run and the other a single and Crouwel went four for five driving in three runs. Jiter Montilla and Kanon Hibbs also had big at bats driving in three and two runs, respectively.
Keagan Lawlor earned the win for the Falcons and Ben Peth got the save. Ayden Gates provided middle inning scoreless relief.
The second game did not light up the scoreboard like a Christmas tree like the first one in a tight 4-2 contest. ECC had RBIs from Adam Hanan, Samuele Bruno, Hayden Cook and Brayden Roberts. Roberts had three hits in the low scoring affair. Four pitchers combined in the victory with Will Mentz starting and recording five strikeouts. Henry Kufa struck out four batters over two innings and Jitter Montilla closed the game earning the victory.
