ECC Baseball (17-8) put together a good day of work at Taco Bell field with back-to-back wins over the Hesston Larks 11-1 and 10-3. The first game victory was highlighted by a spectacular performance on the mound by Cole Evans. The complete game one hit, one run game with four strikeouts was his best outing of the season to date.

Jackson Kirn went 3 for 3 in the game with a double and two singles to lead off the Falcons in the batting order. ECC kept finding holes in the outfield as they scored 11 runs on 10 hits. DeVon Jennings, Jose Alfonso and Matis Crouwel collected two RBIs each in the contest.

The second game started off a little shaky with Hesston taking an early 3-1 lead, but then after the top of the second inning it was ECC the rest of the way lead by Jose Alfonso who went three for four with a single, double and triple.

Adam DeBoer earned the win for the Falcons pitching four and third innings striking out seven batters. Brock Hendrix and Ayden Gates came into the game in the later stages in relief for ECC to secure the 10-3 victory.

Landen Roberts and Jackson Kirn each collected multiple hits in the game.

ECC will face Hesston again for another double header on Saturday, March 22.
