The post season is over for the East Central College Volleyball Falcons as they fell in straight sets to Heartland Community College over the past weekend in district play. The Falcons, 22-11 on the season, were honored the previous weekend with post season honors from the region coaches in their annual meeting.
Abigail Cowell was named the NJCAA Region 16 Player of the Year and 1st Team All-Region by the coaches vote for her play leading the way offensively for her team.

Lexi Filkins led the team defensively and was ranked in the NJCAA #10 throughout the season in digs and digs per set. Filkins received 1st Team All-Region honors for her performance on the court.
