East Central College volleyball is now 5-0 on the young season, which is the best start in Coach Lisa Mathes-Peters tenure at the helm of the Falcons.  Another home win against Wentworth Military Academy saw the Falcons strike quick against the Red Dragons with a score line of 25-16, 25-10, 25-18. A good defensive game led by libero, Grace Goedde,  had the Falcons in charge of the match most of the night. Mackenzy Vedder led the team in assists as she set up Cameron Hackman, Skylar Evans and Ginny Ward up for some big time kills.

The game was the first of the season for Region 16 games with seeding implications. The Falcons will turn around and face another Region 16 opponent in MCC-Longview later in the week hoping to take a command in the standings.
