The double header sweep over the Lewis & Clark Community College Trailblazers was accomplished in convincing fashion with back to back 9-1 victories. ECC found the bats and collected big stats on the day in both games. A flock of Falcons, five to be exact, recorded two hits each in the first game: Ryleigh Long, Meredith Blakemore, Anna Arman, Loren Thurmon and Genevieve Beacom. Long led the team with three RBI with Blakemore and Arman adding two RBI each.
Abrea Simmons recored the one run victory from the circle for the Falcons. She registered five strikeouts and didn’t walk a batter.
The second win by a score of 9-1 was highlighted by Meredith Blakemore and Eve Sandoval both driving in two runs. Genevieve Beacom was able to score three runs with a pass ball steal of home for one of her runs scored.
Addyson Steele was stellar from the circle striking out seven batters to get the win. She only walked two in holding the Trailblazers to one run.
