The ECC Softball Falcons (12-2) have been finding ways to win with big hits coming up and down the line up. The big bats came out in a double header sweep over the North Arkansas Pioneers by scores of 13-5 and 10-0.

The first game was highlighted by Genevieve Beacom who almost hit for the cycle by hitting a home run, triple, double and just missing the single going 3 for 3 and driving in 6 RBIs. Meredith Blakemore collected three hits as well with two RBIs. Eve Sandoval smacked a double and a triple of her own in the first game.

The five inning run rule game was pitched and controlled by Abrea Simmons who only allowed four hits in the game.

The second game was highlighted by Meredith Blakemore driving in four runs on three hits. Avery Little, Genevieve Beacom and Sam Kozlowski each collected multiple hits for the Falcons. Beacom’s big day included another three RBIs totaling nine on the day.

Addyson Steele earned the win for the Falcons holding the Pioneer to 5 hits and no runs. She struck out seven batters in the contest.
