There might not be Clydesdales and the pomp and circumstance surrounding opening day on the road for the ECC Softball Falcons, but there is excitement with the new flock Coach Wallach has assembled. ECC returns five sophomores who are looking to make their mark this weekend in Arkansas. Ryan Stutzman, Payton Robinson, Alexa Smalling, Kylie McDaniel and Lewis look to lead their teammates into the 2024 campaign. As the Falcons take on Central Community College from Nebraska and North Arkansas, Coach Wallach expects great performances from this year’s team. ECC faces a perennial NJCAA Region 9 power in Central CC Raiders for three games and one against the North Arkansas Pioneers.
