ECC Softball (10-9) split a double header with the Mineral Area Cardinals winning the first game 4-3 with a walk off winning 2 RBI hit by Ryleigh Long. The Falcons were down 3-0 in the sixth inning and scored two runs to make the game 3-2 heading into the bottom of the seventh.
Two runners in scoring position had Long up to the plate with one out and she delivered a clutch hit for the Falcons to walk off the Cardinals in the first game of the double header. Addyson Steele recorded the win pitching for the Falcons.
The second game went in the wrong direction fast as the Mineral Area College Cardinals jumped on the Falcons early and often resulting in a 10-1 loss.
