The ECC Falcons (11-9) rebounded from a midweek loss with a victory over the Spoon River College Snappers. The Falcons had consistent play both defensively and offensively with only a little sputter in the third set. ECC won by a score line of 26-24, 25-23, 17-25, 25-15.

Both Makayla Case and Brenna Moore found the opposition’s court friendly as they both registered 11 kills in the match with a high efficiency percentage. Bree Zimmermann added 27 assists in the match leading the team in the way of helpers. Trinity Clark had 29 digs and Emily McKinney collected 15 digs to lead ECC on the defensive side of the court.

The Falcons are gearing up for an end of the week showdown against NJCAA Region 16 DII rival Metropolitan Community College Kansas City at home on October 8. This is a must win for the Falcons hoping to secure the top seed in the post season.
