The ECC Baseball Falcons (2-0) found their bats after trailing 7-2 in the first game of a double header winning both games by big scores of 20-15 and 15-1. The first game had some rust and nerves to conquer for the Falcons before rallies occurred and errors were cleaned up. The Falcons scored two runs in bottom of the first, but were trailing 7-2 in the top of the 3rd inning.

Then the bats woke up and big hits came from the entire line up with DeVon Jennings, Matis Crouwel and Jose Alfonso hitting home runs and ECC scoring 11 runs in the bottom of the third inning.  Alfonso went 5 for 5 collecting 3 RBI.  Jennings’ smash over the fence was a three run homer along with one other hit helped him drive in 4 runs in the first game.  Cory Chostner, Landen Roberts, Hayden Cook and Matis Crouwel all had two or more hits with two RBI each.

On the mound, the Falcons struggled to find their form for the first few innings. Landon Cann ended up getting the win for the Falcons and Mason Snider came in relief to end the game for the Falcons.

The second game was highlighted by the pitching of Cole Evans and the hitting of Joey Reichmuth. Evans earned the win for the Falcons striking out five batters and only allowing one run. Reichmuth had three hits with two triples and a single. Reichmuth collected 3 RBI followed by Cory Chostner collecting 2 RBI on a single. Josh McClintock used his wheels swiping 3 bases on the day to lead the Falcons who stole a total of 7 bases in the game.
