A Falcons’ victory over the Eutectics of the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis capped off the home regular season and elevated ECC to an 11-6 record. The Falcons didn’t let the Eutectics mix up much in the first set as ECC jumped out to a 13-1 lead and didn’t look back. The score line favored ECC the entire way 25-10, 25-16, 25-13.
Good performances came across the board for the Falcons, but Allison Tonioli was in top form as she pounded 12 kills in the three-set match. Grace Struttmann, Leinata Leakehe and Makayla Bevfoden all collected kills in the win. Defensively Trinity Clark lead the team again in digs with 16.
One last, regular season match for the Falcons against Frontier Community College will have the Falcons heading to Illinois to face the Bobcats before heading to MCCKC for the Region 16 DII volleyball tournament.
