Two Falcons Earn All-Region Honors for ECC Men’s Soccer

First-Team All-Region: Frank Barraza — Defender
A lockdown presence on the back line, Frank Barraza was named First-Team All-Region. Barraza anchored the Falcons’ defense with intelligence, physicality, and leadership — consistently tasked with marking the opponents’ top attacking threats. His composure under pressure and ability to win crucial challenges helped establish ECC as one of the toughest defenses to break down in the region.

Second-Team All-Region: Ignacio Padilla — Goalkeeper
Between the posts, Ignacio Padilla delivered a standout season of his own, earning Second-Team All-Region recognition. Padilla showcased elite reflexes and command of his penalty area, coming up with key stops in tight matches and giving the Falcons confidence to push forward offensively. His consistency in net was a crucial factor in ECC’s competitiveness all season long.
“These two have been anchors for us,” ECC men’s soccer staff shared. “Their commitment and intensity set the tone — and we’re incredibly proud to see them rewarded.”
With both players helping drive the program forward, the Falcons have plenty of momentum building toward next year.
Congratulations to Frank and Ignacio — well deserved, Falcons!
