Henry Kufa drove in four runs on three hits to lead East Central College Falcons past MACC Greyhounds 9-7 on Saturday. Kufa singled in the sixth inning, scoring two runs, and hit a home run to center field in the tenth inning, scoring two.

Both offenses were strong at the plate as East Central College Falcons collected nine hits and MACC Greyhounds nine in the high-scoring affair.

East Central College Falcons got on the board in the top of the first inning after Kannon Hibbs singled down the left field line, and Samuele Bruno hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one.

A solo home run to left field by Brayden Roberts gave East Central College Falcons the lead, 3-2.

East Central College Falcons took the lead in the top of the fifth. Jack Holubowski hit a solo home run to left field, to give East Central College Falcons the leg up, 4-3.

MACC Greyhounds took the lead in the bottom of the fifth.

A single by Kufa gave East Central College Falcons the lead, 6-5, in the top of the sixth.

East Central College Falcons took the lead in the top of the eighth. Bruno lined out, scoring one run, to give East Central College Falcons the upper hand at 7-6.

A home run to center field by Kufa gave East Central College Falcons the lead, 9-7, in the top of the tenth.

Kufa earned the win for East Central College Falcons. The pitcher gave up three hits and one run over two innings, striking out two and walking one. Hibbs began the game for EVC and Jack Meyer appeared in relief for East Central College Falcons.

East Central College Falcons accumulated nine hits in the game. Holubowski collected two hits for East Central College Falcons in four at bats. Hayden Cook paced East Central College Falcons with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, accumulating eight walks for the game. Kufa stole three bases. East Central College Falcons stole three bases in the game.
