The East Central College Falcons (2-4-1) were held to a lone goal in a 1-1 tie with the Metropolitan Community College -Kansas City Wolves on Tuesday. Tyler Finder keeps finding the back of the net for the Falcons as he tucked in his fourth goal of the season on an assist from Dujon Brown. As the Falcons keep clawing their way back toward the .500 mark, ECC has played good defense in their past three games with exception of about 20 minutes. The defense led by Michael Holliday, Koen Gemeri, Brady Blum and Matt Harp have played consistently well in front of Ignacio ” Iggy” Padilla in the nets.

The Falcons will need to start coming together with team play as the face St. Louis, Jefferson, and Mineral Area all in a matter of a week. ECC needs big wins against St. Louis and Mineral Area to keep up in the region standings for post-season seeding implications. A better seed allows the Falcons a chance to face a more favorable quarterfinal opponent.
