The ECC Falcons (9-9) took little time to put the offense display into high gear taking two victories over the McKendree University JV Bearcats by scores of 33-6 and 26-8.

The first game had Henry Kufa collecting six RBIs on three hits and Jack Holubowski putting together four of his own hits and five RBIs.

The big day at the plate kept coming as the Bearcat pitching and defense couldn’t make outs. Adam Hanan and Hayden Cook both went 3 for 4 on the day collecting four RBIs each. Cook also launched a solo shot over the fence.

Dylan Michaelson and Gabriel Contreras weren’t to be denied in the hit parade either as the two had similar offensive statistics as each collected one hit and three RBIs. Brayden Roberts and Kannon Hibbs also contributed one RBI each in the affair.

The pitching was a combination of Parker Anderson, Dante Frantz and Jitter Montilla with Anderson getting the win.

The second game had Contreras coming up to the the plate at the right time with runners on base as he knocked in four RBIs on two hits with one being a home run. Sam Sailors notched his first collegiate hit in fine fashion as hit a a grand slam driving in four runs plus another single for a fifth RBI on the day.

Adam Hanan and Jeff Lentz used the Ronsick launching pad as each player was able to collect four RBIs.

As in the first game, the pitching was done by committee with one inning each for Will Mentz, Ayden Gates, Dominic DeBella, Logan Holmes, and Cooper Burrington. Burrington completed the last inning with three strikeouts. Mentz got the win for the Falcons in the lopsided 26-8 victory.
