The East Central College Baseball Falcons (2-3) collected their first wins in a double header sweep in the home opener against the Westminster College Bluejays 17-2 and 12-1.

The wins were the first for the new Falcon skipper Luke Miller and his 2025 squad. Jack Holubowski led the Falcons going three for three in the first game. The Falcons scored eight runs on six hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Gabriel Contreras doubled, scoring a run, and Hayden Cook singled scoring two runs. Also, Holubowski drove in two RBI, while Adam Hanan drove in another.

Andrew Sharpe earned the win for the Falcons as he struck out four batters. Kaner Young and Dante Frantz both threw a scoreless inning each in relief for the Falcons.

Cook, Crouwel, Holubowski, Bruno and Contreras all contributed two RBI in the game. Henry Kufa also had two hits for ECC.
Kufa then led the Falcons into the second victory by hitting a solo home un in the bottom of the first inning. Sam Bruno then tripled in the bottom of the first and drove in two runs. Both Bruno and Kufa had two RBI in the game.

Ben Peth recorded the win pitching for the Falcons. Will Mentz and Jiter Montilla both threw scoreless innings in relief for the Falcons in the 12-1 win.
