The Falcons (9-3) traveled to Vincennes, Indiana to take on Henry Ford Community College and Vincennes College in a tri-match. The Falcons came up on the winning side in the first match of the day against Henry Ford by scores of 25-20, 10-25, 25-15 and 25-16. ECC was paced in the kills department by Macey Morehead who collected 13 kills in the four set match. Olivia Spanley and Emily McKinney followed up with 8 and 7 of their own kills respectively.
Things didn’t shape up so well in the second match as ECC was down two players and faced a good Vincennes squad and fell in three sets. ECC could have used some of the fire power from their leading kills per match leader Leinata Leakehe who was out of town for a family funeral.
