The ECC Falcons knocked off Missouri Baptist University JV Spartans on “Sophomore Night” in straight sets 3-0 by scores of 25-18, 25-17, 25-20. It was match where offense was spread across the line-up with Katelee Payne and Isabel Stowe each knocking down 8 kills in the match. Peyton Yarbrough and Abby Cowell both contributed 7 kills. Erin Brooks and Bailee Lutrell were also in the mix scoring points for the Falcons as the duo had 6 and 5 kills of their own respectively.
A defense performance also had a distribution of digs across the team. Bailee Lutrell recorded the team high 12 digs with coming right behind her Jaidyn Collins mopping up the court with 9 digs. Three players had 6 digs each with Taylor Jones, Brooke Leesmann, and Peyton Yarbrough doing their job keeping the Falcons in the match.
