The East Central College Falcons (13-18-1) had a unique situation on their hands as they faced the St. Charles Community College Cougars in a conference match-up. The best way to describe the second game was a battle at the plate for both teams in a 10-10 tie ending in the fifth inning as the light ran out in the game. The first game was dropped 9-6 by the Falcons.
The Falcons were paced in the second game with hits by Jiter Montilla, Joshren Magnaye, Matis Crouwel, Kannon Hibbs, Jack Holubowski, Henry Kufa and Gabriel Contreras all getting hits. Montilla and Contreras had big hits with runners in scoring position as both players collected three RBIs on the day.
ECC drew ten walks in the contest which put runners in scoring position which led to three runs in the fifth inning to tie the game at 10-10. A platoon of pitchers for ECC included Keagon Lawlor, Dante Frantz, Kaner Young, Brock Hendrix and Logan Holmes each working an inning.
