The East Central College Women’s Soccer Falcons (1-0) had a great opener in their first game of the season with a 8-0 win over the Scott County Community College Eagles in Bettendorf, Iowa. Two players were leading the charge with three goals each in the match recording hat tricks for sophomore Chenai Lefebvre and freshman Isabelle Tiepelman. Landry Watson and Kylie Kitchen rounded out the scoring with a goal a piece. An opening match win for the season, set a record with the largest goal output in a single game in the program’s history.
ECC outshot and dominated the match for the entire 90 minutes. The clean sheet was earned by the total team effort with Niamh Miller facing one shot in the match to register her first college shutout in the nets for the Falcons.
