ECC Volleyball (4-5) came out of the gate blazing in the Falcon Classic at home in Union, MO on September 6 with two straight set wins over Southern Illinois College and Frontier College. Big wins were highlighted by good defensive play with tremendous team blocking. ECC registered season high blocks in both of their matches.
The second day didn’t go as well as the Falcons fell to John Wood CC in straight sets. The team came out flat and didn’t have good ball control which didn’t lead to the result the Falcons were hoping for.
The Falcons head to Mineral Area for a midweek conference match-up against the Cardinals.
