Head Men’s Soccer Coach- Alex Severino

Alex Severino has been hired as the head men’s soccer coach to lead the Falcons into the 2025 season. Coach Severino recently served as the interim head coach at East Central College to finish the 2024 season.
A Washington, Missouri native, Severino played high school soccer at St. Francis Borgia Regional High School where he was a three-year starter and named 1st Team All-State his senior year in 2011-12 after winning a district title. He was also named UMB Bank All-Star Selection in 2011-12. His club soccer playing career included playing for St. Louis Scott Gallagher from 2002 to 2013, where in 2011 & 2013 his team won the Missouri State Cup.
His college career spanned four years at William Woods, graduating in 2016 with Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and a minor in coaching. Severino was a 4-year starter and captain his senior. While playing he tallied 20 goals and 9 assists for 59 points and was named a 1st Team America Midwest Conference played in 2014.
Coach Severino is married to Mackenzie Severino, current St. Francis Borgia girls’ soccer coach and they have one child Henry Severino.
Past coaching stops for Severino include assistant coach at St. Francis Borgia in 2016 and assistant Coach at St. Francis Borgia in 2022 when the team won the Missouri State Champion Class 1Title. Severino served as the assistant Coach at East Central College 2023 and 2024.
