FALCONS TOP PRAIRIE STATE FOR FIRST WIN OF 2010 SEASON

Jason Heywood #14Jason Heywood #14The East Central College Falcons started the new NJCAA season in Chicago, Illinois facing tough opponents in Prairie State and South Suburban. The Falcons came up victorious in their first game with a 2-0 win against Prairie State. Cody Beck and Edwin Meza found the net for East Central College in the win. Brian Monge and Dillon Huber recorded the assists on the goals. Tyler Subke (Washington High School) came up big in the nets to chalk up his first shutout of the season.

The Falcons didn’t fare as well in the second match as they came out flat and let NJCAA ranked South Suburban jump out to a 3-0 first half lead. The Falcons held out South Suburban in the second half, but could manage goals of their own.
