ECC WINS DEFENSIVE BATTLE AGAINST LINDENWOOD JV

The East Central College Falcons (17-18) have been staying close to the .500 mark during the end of the regular season. East Central took one game in a double header against Lindenwood University JV. The first game was a quick defensive battle as Jessica Eichholz led the charge pitching for the Falcons in a 2-0 victory. The second game found the Falcons behind early by a 5-1 deficit. ECC battled back to tie the game 5-5 in the bottom of the seventh inning with hits by Lisa Stout, Stephanie Dukes and Addie Blankenship, Jessica Eichholz and Jill Griffin. The comeback was halted as the Lady Lions scored a lone run in the eighth inning and ended the game with a 6-5 score.
