SAMANTHA KLEEKAMP HITS THREE HOME RUNS IN TWO ECC VICTORIES

The East Central College Falcons (17-16) on the season have gone above .500 for the first time with two wins over the McKendree JV Bearcats. At the plate, Samantha Kleekamp had her best day of the year hitting three home runs to catapult the Falcons to victories in each of the two games. Sam went 5 for 7 on the day with 3 home runs and 4 RBI’s. Coach Wallach was both excited and worrisome as Sam also sprained her ankle at the end of the second game. Lisa Stout, Meghan Rumley and Jessica Eichholz also recorded individual performances each going 3 for 4 in one of the double header games. Kasilda Miller and Jessica Eichholz picked up the victories pitching for the Falcons.
