Meghan Rumley at the PlateDespite the weather conditions, the Falcons (2-3) managed to get their second victory of the season by a margin of 14-6 over the STLCC-Florissant Valley Fury. The teams were only able to play one game of the double header due to rain. The game was tied 6-6 after 7 innings, but the East Central bats came to life and the team rallied to score eight runs in the 9th inning. The offense was sparked by batting from Addie Blankenship (5 for 6, 2 doubles, 3 RBIs), Jill Griffin (4 for 5, 2 triples, 4 RBIs) and Meghan Rumley (3 for 3, 1 triple, 1 RBI). Jessica Eichholz pitched all 9 innings and notched her second victory of the season.
