FALCONS FLY OVER FENCES AGAINST EAGLES

The Falcons had a slow start against the Dyersburg State Eagles, but found their offensive power as the double header progressed. Down 10-0 in the fourth inning of the first game, East Central provided a dramatic comeback behind a grand slam by Lisa Stout. After tying the game 10-10, the Falcons ended up losing 15-12 in extra innings. The second game turned out better as ECC won 10-1 in five innings as Jessica Eichholz, Sam Kleekamp and Meghan Rumley all contributed home runs as the Falcons cruised to victory. Jessica Eichholz recorded her first pitching victory of the season in a very impressive performance. The Falcons have a busy week with games every day this week but Friday. The next home game will be against Three Rivers on Wednesday, March 10 at 2:00p.m.
