Tabetha Korman came on strong the last week of the season hitting three home runs including a solo home run to start the scoring in a 5-2 win over Forest Park in the Region 16 Tournament. The Falcons took a commanding 5-0 lead against the Highlanders and finished the game off with a strong pitching performance by Sam Juergens. ECC lost to Mineral 9-6 in the semifinal game. A 3-3 tie in the fourth inning was almost changed for the home team when Dacey Hassey missed a chance at a grand slam by two feet. The Falcons did go ahead briefly 4-3, but fell behind 9-4 after a Mineral Area rally. Jill Griffin added a two run homer to edge the Falcons closer, but ECC ended their season with a loss to the eventual Region 16 Champions, Mineral Area.
