ERICA LABOUBE MAKES NJCAA ALL-AMERICAN

Erica LaBoubeFalcons’ Volleyball Team sophomore captain and middle hitter, Erica LaBoube, was recently named NJCAA Women’s Volleyball Second Team All-American. Along with All-American honors, Erica was twice selected to the NJCAA Region XVI First Team and the Midwest Community College Athletic Conference First Team. During her playing career in a newly reinstated program at East Central College, Erica has set the bar high in career statistics. Finishing her sophomore year ranked third in the NJCAA with 47.93 hitting efficiency percentage along with 434 kills, 190 blocks, and 69 aces she will be leading the ECC record books for a long time to come. Erica helped lead the Falcons to the first women’s volleyball NJCAA Region XVI DII Title in school history and the only ECC trip to the NJCAA National Championship finishing with a 34-12 record.
