2008 MCCAC CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS2008 MCCAC CHAMPIONSThe last game of the regular season for the Falcons proved to be a rewarding one as East Central College beat Forest Park 2-0 to claim the 2008 Midwest Community College Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Championship. The Falcons finished the regular season 15-4-1 and 4-1 in the conference. This is third conference crown for East Central College Men's Soccer with the other two coming in 2001 and 2005. Nazin Michel scored two break away goals in the second half to seal the victory for East Central. The defensive play of Nickardo Blake, Jordan Tod, Spencer Hunter, Victor Del Monego and Luis Percovich held out the Highlanders. Lionel Brown continued his record breaking season recording his 10th shutout of the season.
