FALCONS VICTORIOUS OVER OAKTON

The East Central College Falcons improved to 2-0 with a victory over Oakton Community College from Chicago, IL. Robens Decius netted two goals in the first half to give the Falcons the early lead. His second, two-goal game in a row is all East Central needed to hang on and get the 2-1 win. The game was the first of three being played this weekend by East Central in the Missouri Junior College Classic in St. Charles, MO. Coach Grimes was pleased with the team effort and stated, “we are improving as a team, but we need to learn how to finish the game stronger and put the game away in the second half.” He also commented, “We missed a number of opportunities in front of the net and will need to get better in order to record key victories throughout the season.”
