Falcons Find Formula for Victory over Fury

The Falcons found a formula for victory in a sweep of a double header against the Florissant Valley Fury by scores of 8-2 and 13-0. A winning streak of four games in a row has helped boost overall team confidence. East Central amassed 35 hits in two games with freshman Samantha Kleekamp going 2 for 2 in the second game with a home run and 4 RBI’s. The season is in full swing and the Falcons have a full schedule until the NJCAA Region XVI Tournament.

FALCONS SWEEP MISSOURI VALLEY JV

The Falcons rallied to win two games over Missouri Valley JV in Marshall, Missouri. The sweep of a double header was just what the doctor ordered to jump start the Falcons in the win column with victories over the Lady Vikings 8-2 and 9-4. Coach Wallach was pleased with the team’s resilience through their pitching and hitting prowess. The team was led by the pitching of Jessica Eichholz and Kasilda Miller, who both earned victories on the day. Jill Griffin led the offensive with five hits on the day.
