FALCONS FINISH SEASON

Tabetha Korman came on strong the last week of the season hitting three home runs including a solo home run to start the scoring in a 5-2 win over Forest Park in the Region 16 Tournament. The Falcons took a commanding 5-0 lead against the Highlanders and finished the game off with a strong pitching performance by Sam Juergens.

FALCONS COME BACK AGAINST COTTEY

Tabetha KormanTabetha KormanThe Falcons (21-25)came back to beat Cottey 8-7 in a tightly contested Region 16 Tournament game to keep their season alive. After dropping the first game against Forest Park, the Falcons found themselves facing another deficit and desperately needed a comeback. Tabatha Korman started the rally with a solo home run and ended the game with a two run single to send ECC to the next round of the tournament.

FALCONS FLY PAST EAGLES

Sam JuergensSam JuergensThe East Central College Falcons won their 20th game of the season by sweeping their double header over Central Methodist JV by scores of 5-3 and 10-2. A spectacular pitching performance in two games by Sam Juergens led ECC to a pair of victories. Offensively, Amy Baumhoer had a three run homer to propel the Falcons to victory in the first game. Lisa Stout, Amber Muir and Stephanie Dukes performed well at the plate and added RBIs in the second game.
