FALCONS TOP CULVER STOCKTON

ECC won two games over Culver Stockton JV by scores of 9-5 and 12-4 in an away double header in Canton, MO. Offensively, the Falcons are looking good and finding the fences. Shelby Friend had a pair of two run homers for a total of four RBI in the first victory. Rachel Micke pitched well in the win for the Falcons. In the second game, Karissa Hoffman stepped up to lead the team going 3-3 at the plate with a home run. Sarah Westhoff was the winning pitcher in the second matchup.

FALCONS TAKE ONE AGAINST CENTRAL METHODIST JV

Anna FeelerAnna FeelerThe Falcons are 10-4 on the season after a double header split with the Central Methodist JV Eagles in Fayette, Missouri. A 9-0 loss in the first game had ECC facing a very good pitcher from CMU and the Falcons couldn’t quite get the ball on the bat. The second game was different and ECC was back in attack mode as the bats came to life in a 13-4 victory. Anna Feeler and Shelby Friend both had three hits in the game. Friend hitting in the #4 spot was able to drive in six runs to lead the Falcons.

FALCONS FIND BATS AGAINST MISSOURI VALLEY

Kaity GrillsKaity GrillsThe Falcons (9-3) were able to find the fences with multiple home runs in a double header sweep of the Missouri Valley Vikings at home. In both games, ECC jumped on top in the first inning scoring multiple runs. Score lines of 8-0 and 13-3 saw a hit parade coming from all facets of the Falcon's lineup. Kaity Grills had a repeat performance in both games as she launched a pair of two RBI doubles in each of the first innings.
