Eden Henry Signs with Falcons

Eden HenryEden HenryEden Henry, standout pitcher from Marionville High School, inked a letter of intent to play softball for the Falcons this coming fall. During her junior year, she led her high school team to a 3rd place finish in the spring state finals. ECC Head Softball Coach Brad Wallach is hoping Henry can make an impact this coming year pitching for ECC. The Falcons will have three sophomore pitchers graduate this year and will need a freshman starting pitcher like Henry.

A stretch run to finish out the season was accomplished with hard work by the entire team and the coaching staff. Winning three out of four games had ECC collecting the hardware at the end of the tournament.

FALCONS MAKE MIRACULOUS COMEBACK AGAINST ST. LOUIS CC

The ECC Softball Falcons (29-22) were down early by a score of 5-1 in the first round of the NJCAA Region 16 DII Tournament against St. Louis Community College. East Central College decided to shift gears and started their comeback mode. Down 5-2 heading into the top of the 7thinning, ECC loaded the bases and Kaity Grills came through with a clutch hit to tie the game 5-5.
