The Falcons were dominating play throughout the game, but couldn’t find the back of the net through most of the first half. A penalty kick was called against St. Louis for a push in the box which created the first scoring opportunity. Jake Erwin put one between the pipes on the penalty kick to give him a team leading five goals on the season.


Jake ErwinJake ErwinThe Falcons found themselves trailing the College of Lake County 1-0 and then decided to erupt in goal scoring department by scoring four goals in the first half. Jake Erwin was the leader in the scoring as he netted a hat trick on the day. A much need victory had ECC hungry to find the back of the net. Hopefully, the scoring becomes contagious in the upcoming contests for the Falcons.


Lauren BorgerdingLauren BorgerdingThe Volleyball Falcons (6-6) were able to win a tight match against Missouri Baptist JV by scores of 25-22, 25-21, 21-25, 25-17. Each set in the match went came down to the last few points to see who would come out on top. A much improved Missouri Baptist JV had ECC on the ropes for a number tough points, but the Falcons prevailed in the end. Lauren Borgerding had one of her best matches of her career as a Falcon registering a number of pinpoint kills.
