FALCONS FIND NET TO FINISH REGULAR SEASON

Demir TankosicDemir TankosicEast Central College Soccer finished the regular season 9-7-1 with a 4-1 victory over Central Methodist University JV. The win yesterday secures another winning season for the Falcons under the tutelage of Coach Kean Barclay. Coach Barclay has amassed over thirty wins in three seasons. This winning season marks the fifteenth .500 or better season in the past sixteen years for East Central College Soccer.

As the Falcons finish up the regular season the team is looking to make their mark in the record books by erasing a tough start to climb above the .500 mark for the first time all year. The Falcons knocked off Missouri Baptist JV 2-1 to elevate their season record to 8-7-1. A tale of seasons has East Central College winning seven of their last eight matches. Jake Erwin and AJ Bannister were able to score for the Falcons in the victory. Patrick Beffa recorded both assists on the goals in the away match.

ECC HOLDS OWN AGAINST TOUGH COMPETITION IN ILLINOIS CENTRAL TOURNAMENT

Paige SchmelzlePaige SchmelzleThe East Central Volleyball Falcons (16-18) are playing some of their best volleyball heading into the stretch run of the regular season. ECC beat Lakeland Community College by scores 25-21, 25-21, 23-25,25-19 and Southwestern Illinois College 25-18, 25-14, 25-23 to notch two victories in the Illinois Central Tournament in East Peoria, IL. The Falcons fell to tournament host NJCAA DII #3 ranked Illinois Central and #11 Columbus State.
